English plays an important role in the whole of the nation. It is the language that opens the gate of employability, opportunity and vision for the youth. The department of English in our college has established itself in a big way to cater to the needs of the society and to impart quality education to the students. We value the traditions of Literature and the relationship between human expression and developments of human culture. In conformity with the vision and mission of the college and the present society need, the department of English has molded itself with positive aspirants to cope-up with the latest trend prevalent in the national and international level and need-based teaching of English. Since the situation for employability demands a good command over the communication skill of the students, the department of English will give priority to this. The English Department will emerge and will be committed to teach Literature and Critical thinking, continuing participation in research program and academic outreach program as a critical part of what we do.
